\nYou're off to a good start, with several good ideas to explore as you get to your main focus of the effect of cellphones on teen social life, and on family life. I thought it was interesting that the very first thing you mentioned was the fashion aspect--that some cell phones are not as cool as others, and that in the early days of cell technology, they were not cool looking at all.
\n
\nI noticed the only downside you mentioned so far was the risk of losing data if someone switched to a new phone. Are there any other downsides? What did you find in the articles you read? I was also wondering if you had more information about why cell phones are not allowed in schools. What are the arguments for and against letting teens have their phones in school? Is it different in elementary school?
\n
\nDon't forget to separate your ideas into paragraphs. Each paragraph focuses on one aspect of your topic. Paragraphs help guide readers, letting them know that there is a new idea to think about.
\n
\nI'll visit your class again next week. I'm looking forward to reading more!
