Satellites and G.P.S, how the affect society?
Satellites have affected have affected life on earth before human kind ever existed,
when some one hears about satellites the thought that comes to their mind is the man
made objects that revolve around the earth. To be correct those aren’t the real satellites,
the real satellites are the moons that revolve around planets. The reason man made
objects were referred as satellites is because they both affected the planets the same way
but the man made satellites not as massive as natural satellites. In the Merriam-Webster
dictionary satellites are defined as any object which has been placed in orbit by human
endeavor. They are called artificial satellites to defer from natural satellites such as the
moon.
Artificial satellites were first created in the Soviet Union on October 4th 1957. It was
called Sputnik 1. Ever since this historical day artificial satellites have changed the face
of earth forever, this was a new dawn for man that would revolutionized the way
technology can be used. Article satellites affect every day life dramatically, they account
for about 99 percent of everything that is used today. Everything from jet planes, laptops
and walkie-talkies use satellites fir there uses.

telescope buts it’s a satellites as well. Hubble opened the door to the universe nobody has
ever seen before. Hubble gave light to a dark and dimmed universe. Before Hubble was
created satellites didn’t have the power or capacity to view the cosmos the way Hubble
did. Know we can see the foundation of the plain of existence, how the universe was
created, what created it and how long, all thanks to a satellite that when first created was
meant to be used as a weapon not a key to the cosmos.
One of the best uses satellites are used for is to make everyday life easier and more
convenient for society. Foe example G.P.S (Global Positioning System) G.P.S is a system
used by a satellites that can help you locate anywhere on earth. You can find the latitude
and longitude of your location. If your lost and your in the middle of nowhere you can
use the G.P.S and find out where you are at and get direction and how to get there with
G.P.S

(GNSS). Utilizing a constellation of at least 24 satellites that revolve around earths orbit
they transmit precise radio signals, the system enables a GPS receiver to determine its
location, speed and direction G.P.S was created by the United States by the Defense
program to map out enemy territories. It was first called NAVSTAR G.P.S. GPS has
become a widely used aid to navigation worldwide, and a useful tool for map-making,
and surveying, commerce, and scientific uses. GPS also provides a precise time
reference used in many applications including scientific study of earthquakes, and

Natural satellites affect the world just as much as artificial satellites. With out natural
satellites the world would not be the same at all. The day would be extremely longer, the
earth would take extremely long to revolve in one day. The day we know of 24 hours
would turn to 40 hours and the earth would lose its axis and wobble around the sun. The
moon keeps the earth axis from going out of control and keeps the day 24 hours long.
In a way Natural and artificial satellites help contribute to the world. Artificial
satellites help make G.P.S possible, transferring information across the world in seconds
and exploring the universe. Natural satellites help maintain the earth axis and rotation.
These two catalyst make the world what it is today. The man-made satellite and the
natural satellite help contribute to way life is and the way in functions.
If it’s an natural or artificial satellites, satellites affect the world constantly and
dramatically. Without satellites the world we know today would not be similar in any
way. We would never have made scientific breakthroughs in cosmetology, have the use
of cell phones and wireless internet. Satellites are a big part of life every second. These
