Meteorological Satellites: Meteorological use and what they have found.
Uses of satellites
In 1940 was the firsat metorolical satellite orbiting in the earth ovbserving the weather. The satellites work by many parts and signals in order to send the information. The meteorological satellite has made many affects in society such as: The meteorological satellites have been given information about what is going to happen in the future we are not talking about in ten years but, we can see what will happen in the next week. Thus we can be prepared to be in a good way before the climate or the hurricane come. Also it help us to stay save. For example: If on Florida will be a storm, the satellites send the pictures and information to the antennas, radars and places where they gather the information and then they use the information to aware the people about what is about to happen.
Satellites work by many parts and signals in order to send the information. Some of these instruments are a remote-sensing for satellites. The satellites found things about Earth's plant cover, chemical composition, and surface water, among many other features. People who work in farming, fishing, mining, and many other industries find this information useful. We can also use remote sensing satellites to study changes in the earth's surface that are caused by people. Examples of this include the parts of West Africa that are turning into desert (desertification), and the destruction of the rainforest in South America (deforestation). on the other this information lead scientis to look for eefects that are behind each feature that send the satelite for example: Scientis found that heavy water vapor molecules have more netrons than lighter \ ones do. Tropical rainfall evaporation and water "exhaled" by forests are key sources of moisture in the tropical atmosphere. The main role of the atmosphere in Earth's climate system is to take energy deposited by the sun and dispose of it back into space.
Other equipment that needs the satellite to do its job is payload. The payload can include antennas, cameras, radar and electronics. Payload is very peculiar because is different in any satellites. For example a payload for weather includes cameras to take pictures of clouds formation meanwhile other are different for example payload for a communication satellite includes antennas to transmit TV or telephone signals to earth.
Another part of the satellite is BUS that carries the payload and all the equipment to the space also it keep al the parts of the satellite together and provides electrical power , computer, propulsion to the aircraft. The BUS has a device that allows the satellite to communicate with the earth.
One of the satellites use to record the weather is called TIROS (Television In fared Conservative Satellite). It records the weather patterns around the world. There a lot of countries that use TIROS data to forecast weather, storms and in other to do scientific research, there are two TIROS satellites around the world over the poles. They work with another type of satellites in geosynchronous orbit called Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) this group the satellites give the information about the climate patterns and the weather around the world.
These satellites sent the pictures of cloud taken; also these satellites have other parts that measure the temperature, moisture, and solar radiation in the atmosphere. That information sends by sensors.
Concluding this research satellites affect society because satellites are utilize as a way that people can be benefit. Some of these benefits are people will not die because the weather, people will not what to use in days cold weather as well in hot weather. It doesn't lead car accidents because people will no where to go. On the other hand it will improve the economic of the country, industries and manufactures will produce clothing for certain type of climate people will buy it. That’s how meteorological satellites affect society.
