Topic: What does the internet have to do with youths?

Questions:
-In what ways does the internet help youths?
-Does the internet help us?
-Do all libraries have filters for the internet?
-How do schools use the internet?
-How safe is the internet?
-How do the schools protect youths from the internet?
-Could the filters block websites that the youths need to go?
-Do the filters completely block sites that youths shouldn't be in?
-Do all schools have filters on their computers?
-How does the internet affect the way that youths act?
-Why is the internet so popular?
-How does the internet attract youths?

Things that I know:

-Libraries lose money if they don't put a filter for the internet.
-You have to be 16 years or older so you could ask the librarian if they could shut off the filter.
-About 80% of the schools in the US had filters in 2002.
-The usage of the internet by youths has grown about 24% in 4 years.
-There are cases of sexual solicitations in the internet.
-The internet is not secure.
-Before there were more boys using the internet than girls and now there is about the same number of boys and girls using the internet.
-About 46% of students use the internet to complete school assignments, 36% use the internet for e-mail or instant messaging and 38%play games.
-The filters also block out some websites that have nothing related to the things that youths shouldn't see.
-There are some ways that the filters could be bypassed.
