Class activity:

Presenting your work

  1. Each student gets to present their work:
Describe your work - what you found and how you found, issues or problems that come up, how you resolved them, what kinds of search terms you used, what you found interesting about your topic, etc. for two minutes.
  2. Participants each ask a question that helps them to understand the work, or that clarifies something presented.
The presenter answers each question as it is asked.
  3. Participants then make a comment on the work's strengths, and offer one suggestion for to assist the presenter's continuing work.
Debrief: What was easy about this process? What was hard? What was helpful? Why do you think we did it?

Come to class tomorrow with a new wiki page that lists what sources you will be using for your pathfinder, and why you are using these sources-use your evaluation sheets (articles & websites) to make you determinations; ALSO, each source will have it's list of related search terms and/or subject headings.
